Thank you, Bloggers!

Well, I certainly enjoyed this literary cafe! I hope you enjoyed this forum and found multiple opportunities to discuss great literature. I also loved seeing you use this as a vehicle to understand each other and the world around you! Thank you for participating in what has been one of my "top 10" teaching experiences.

Blog on!

  1. Mrs. Diamond I think this was one of the most successful literary cafes we have every had. i like that fact that we can see not only our class mates but of those who are in the other classes as well. I think we should do this for next quarter as well.

  3. Hi Ty,

Thanks for your comment. I loved reading everyone's responses on the self-assessment. I found it interesting how much people learned about each other! I will absolutely take your idea into consideration for quarter 4!

  4. Mrs. Diamond, one word brillant! I absoultly loved everything about the blog and have nothing negative to say. I think now that we have seen eachothers posts it has brought us a litte closer. Also it made some people change their outlook on life; for example they might not know what goes on in peoples lives and they are quick to judge. However all and all this was a great idea i give you all the respect in the world. Not only are you a great teacher but you make your class enjoyable and you make sure that we are constantly connecting things back to our lives.Great idea Mrs. Diamond! :)

  5. I enjoyed the time i spent commenting on this blog. When book reports are turned in, they are put in a pile where only the teacher is able to see them; but not this. This gave us the opprutunity to express our opinions and values. It was very fun, and set the bar pretty high for the book projects that will head our way in the future of our highschool careers.Thank you for providing such a gret experience, Mrs.Diamond.
