Dorothy DC Sunday

The last day we were there we went to the Arlington cemetery. It is mostly soldiers from many different wars who are buried there but there are some other people buried there. My grandfather could get buried there if they wanted to because my grandfather was a pilot in world war II.

    Dorothy- I'm very happy you had such a wonderful time in DC. Does your gradnfather ever talk about the war? It must have been an interesting experience.

    I hope you had loads of fun! I have only drove through DC on my way to Virginia, but I have always wanted to stay for a couple days. I bet this was a great oppertunity to see many historical sites. I hope to go someday and having as much fun as you did!

    Wow, Dorothy! Sounds like you had an awesome time! Like Madison I ALWAYS wanted to go to DC. That sounds really cool that your grandfather was a war veteran, it ties in with the piece we are writing in English right now! Now, what site was your favorite to visit? I have always wanted to go the Holocuast Mueseum.. And i read your earlier post as well that you got your face on a dollar bill, and i think that is one of the greatest souveniers you could have gotten, a personalized one! Sounds like an AMAZING oppurtunity you had and I hope you had a wonderful time!
