This book is about what else drugs. The main plot of the story is about Warren Fellows a young Austrian men who is looking for money and finds a easy way of making some extra cash, but little dose he know that what he’s about to start is something that will put him in some unexpected situation were he uses some common sense and having to be crafty but make smart moves.

Warren get into the heroin business were he was constantly making trips from Austria to Bangkok, Thailand. He is often put into bad situations at airports were security is doing bag checks were he has to use some of the famous Warren Fellows charm or his very convincing acting. And because of his great abilities it works to his advantage. Until what he said was his last trip over to Thailand were he is caught in his hotel room and put under arrest. If you don’t know anything about the Taiwanese government it is crazy they have the stupidest laws that put a lot of foreigners at a disadvantage because they don’t know that something like chewing gum is illegal in the country. They are also very strict and they aren’t afraid of doing what they want. So Warren and one of his friends who makes there trips with him are caught and sent to jail were they are interrogated by “Maddog”. Maddog is a very famous police officer who is notorious for his torture and tactics to get what he wants. He was very good at breaking down his victims physically and mentally. Warren and his friend at one point while there in there cell waiting to here about how and how long they will be sentenced they come to the conclusion that there life’s are no longer worth it. There is a water bucket in there cell were they are going to hold each others heads underwater and die, of course this doesn’t work and after about 20 seconds they both pull out and decide to face the music and man up. And they end out serving a very long sentence. They are sent to a high security prison were he spends 4000 days. The prison cells are horrible. 20 to 30 men are put into 10 by 10 rooms for weeks and even months on end in the dark were they are shackled down and get a total of 1 hour of sunlight if they are good. They are feed very poorly and there only bathroom is a hole in the ground in there cell. The living conditions were horrible.

The book is very exciting at some points but very gross and vulgar in others but I consisted it one of my more favorite books because I have read it twice in the last year but I enjoy it. I think that I pick up one thing’s the second time around and digest what’s going on in the book a lot better. I really love this book I think that it’s packed full with a lot of things that I didn’t talk about and you might find interesting but I would recommend it to anybody.

  1. Hey I thought I was Maddog! You did a great job and I love how you wrote it as if you were just talking to me. It made everthing seem soooo real. I think it is crazy what people will do for a little money. I mean get a real (safe) job, it isn't that hard.

  2. Nice Job Ben! Sounds like a very intriguing book. This book reminds me of the show: Locked Up Abroad. It often contains stories of tthose stuck in other countries for reasons of drugs and such. Have you ever seen it?
