Academic Integrity

I've absolutely loved reading posts where students share their honest and heartfelt reviews. I am also disheartened that I have found work students put out as their own that is, in fact, the work of someone else. That is plagiarism.

The Inter-Lakes High School policy (found on pages 10-11 in your student handbook) states that students will receive a zero on such work. What a risk to take, especially when this project and its components are worth half of your final exam grade in English. More importantly, what a missed opportunity to honestly and genuinely represent yourself. You couldn't have had a more eager or supportive audience.

I've already deleted some posts, as you will notice today. I hope it's the last. If there is anything you need to change, please do so immediately. I will deal with this matter accordingly so that we can move on to the powerful work that lies ahead.

Thank you.
