I read the book The Prince Of Fenway Park. It is about a black boy named Oscar and he loves baseball. Oscar finds out he has to go live with his dad but he doesn’t want to because he has never met him. He gets excited though after he finds out his dad lives at Fenway Park. His dad lives under the pitcher’s mound. Oscar has a lot of adventures with his dad at Fenway. I really enjoyed this book because I am a huge Red Sox fan. Also, I have been to Fenway Park a lot so I was able to picture a lot of what happened in the book.
It was a historical fiction book and it had a lot about the history of baseball. Everyone on My mom’s side of the family is a Red Sox fan. By reading this book I got to find out about some of the Red Sox players that played when my parents and grandparents were kids. I would suggest this book to anyone who is into baseball and or likes the Red Sox.
it sounds like agood book. The book sounds like a book that I would read and because I'm a Red Sox fan.

ReplyDeleteJessica my favorite part was probably Oscars birthday party. Just all the things he got were very interesting. I don't want to give that part away to all the people who want to read the book though.
ReplyDeleteNice job! The story sounds adventurous and heart warming. I haven't really read any historical fiction this year and I might give this book a try. Also, I am a HUGE fan of Boston Red Sox.
