Where are you know is an amazing mystery book. This book takes place in New York City and it is about a kid named Mack who went missing 10 years ago, he still calls on mother’s day to let his family know he is safe. His sister Carolyn vows to him on the most recent call that she will find him. The next day she gets a surprising note from him saying that “Uncle Devon, Tell Carolyn she must not look for me!” This note just inspirers her to look even harder for him. After a 21 year old girl, Lesley Andrews goes missing at a bar, investigators turn towards Mack and his best friend Nick DeMarco as suspects to the girl’s disappearance. After Lesley’s disappearance she calls the next day saying to her dad that she’ll call again on mother’s day. Cops then suspect no one other than Mack, but Carolyn won’t give up. Each chapter introduces new characters and suspects always changing who you think it is.
This was an outstanding book. Each chapter something new happened to keep me interested. The chapters were very short so I could put it down when I needed to. The only downside to this book is the sudden ending. I don’t normally read mystery books but this is the best one I have ever read.
